Angele’s Adhesive Remover Wipes, crafted with 100% Organic Virgin Coconut Oil for a gentle and pain-free medical adhesive removal experience. Designed by Nurse Angele’s, these wipes aim to minimize the risk of skin irritation and damage during the removal process.

Adhesive-related injuries pose a significant threat to the delicate skin of NICU infants, particularly those born prematurely. Premature skin, with weaker bonding in both the outer epidermis and the underlying dermis, is vulnerable during adhesive removal. The separation of these layers during the process often results in the removal of the epidermal layer along with the adhesive, leading to skin breakdown.

This breakdown amplifies the risks for infection, pain, and, in more extensive affected areas, fluid and temperature loss. Various studies emphasize the compromised skin barrier function, increasing the likelihood of fluid or temperature loss even when visible skin breakdown is absent.
